Taffy

Taffy was surrendered to the shelter with her puppies when they were no longer useful to their breeder and Taffy would not stop wandering away from the property. She is 4 years old and is a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever mix. Taffy is a sweet girl that would love to find out what a loving forever home is all about! She loves to go on walks and enjoys being with you! She has done well with the cats here at the shelter and does not seem to mind sharing her space with other dogs as long as they respect her boundaries with them. Taffy has been around children and has done well with them. When Taffy and her family arrived at the shelter they were covered in ticks and it was no surprise when she tested positive for Lyme and Anaplasmosis, she is currently being treated for these and is doing well. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.

Xena was surrendered to the shelter when her owner sadly passed away. She is 11 months old and has only known one home in her life, so it took a little while for her to adjust to shelter life. Xena can be aloof with new people and will possibly need several visits with potential adopters to form a bond before going home with them. She will need someone that is familiar with the Elkhound breed and can work with her on socialization. Xena would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.

Fiona is a happy, loving girl that seems to love everyone she meets! She is around a year old and weighs 37 pounds. She loves to go on walks and enjoys smelling everything! She did test positive for Anaplasmosis which comes from a tick bite and is currently being treated for it. This sweet girl would love to find out what a loving home is all about! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
