Adeline is super social, greeting everyone with a happy tail wag. She’s very treat motivated, knows sit, and loves toys. She enjoys walks and has lived with another dog before, so she might even enjoy another canine buddy!

If you’re looking for a fun and affectionate pup, then be sure to foster or adopt Adeline today at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Many dogs have left our shelter and found homes through adoption or foster this past week thanks to the incredible support of our community. While we are moving in the right direction, our facility is still overcrowded with 489 dogs in our shelter and that number needs to be 488 or fewer by next Tuesday at 8pm. Visit our shelter to make a difference at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

By 8pm last night, our facility closed with 493 dogs - just two below our target population of 495! This means we’re closer than ever to no longer being an overcrowded shelter.

Over the past month, our community has stepped up in incredible ways to help the dogs who need it most, giving them a chance to thrive beyond the shelter walls. Seen here is Zonda, who was recently adopted, as well as Breadstick, Demarvi, and Archibald, who are all currently doing great with their foster families. They are all beyond happy to be in loving homes.

Every dog who found a way out made a difference, and it’s all thanks to those who adopted, fostered, and advocated for them. We truly couldn’t have done this without you - thank you for being a LifeLine for Atlanta’s Animals!

We’re so happy to see many dogs leaving our facility over the past several days. At least 14 dogs need to find homes by 8pm tomorrow night. If we are not at 495 dogs or less by that time, we will have to make the difficult decision of euthanasia for dogs struggling the most in our shelter.

Visit us today at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road to adopt or foster and help get a dog out of the shelter and into a loving home.

One big reason our shelter population is rising so quickly is that several dogs have been giving birth lately. With puppy season approaching, these numbers will only keep going up in our already overcrowded shelter. World Spay Day is a reminder of how important spaying and neutering is to prevent unwanted litters - but right now, we need urgent help.

At least 44 dogs must find homes by 8pm tonight, or we’ll be faced with the difficult decision of euthanasia for dogs who are struggling the most in our shelter. Adopt or foster a dog like Bruno or one of many others in our shelter today at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

530 dogs are in our shelter, but we need to be at 495 or fewer by tomorrow at 8pm. The ones struggling the most are at risk of euthanasia if we don’t get enough adoptions or fosters. If you can’t take a dog home, sharing this message can still save a life. Every dog who leaves the building helps. Visit us today at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Mindy is just the right mix of calm and playful. She is house trained, knows sit and stay, and is happy to entertain herself! She’s been a total dream in her foster home - not a ton of energy yet always ready for fun (plus, she has not barked once!).

But her time with her foster family ends tomorrow, and we'd like for Mindy to avoid having to go back to our shelter. Can you foster or adopt her? She would love you fur-ever! If interested, be sure to visit tab.so/AdoptMindyLifeLine.

Janette is a favorite among staff and volunteers, winning hearts with her sweet nature and love for belly rubs. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and is always ready to make a new friend. Whether she's out for a walk or soaking up affection, Janette makes every moment worthwhile.

She was recently made available for adoption and needs to get out of the shelter and into a loving home. Could you be the person she’s been waiting for? Meet her today at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

There are currently 519 dogs in our shelter, but we need to be at 495 or fewer by next Tuesday at 8pm. Dogs keep arriving faster than we can find them loving homes, foster families, or rescue placements. We are working around the clock, but we haven’t seen intake numbers this high in a long time and it’s becoming harder to find positive outcomes for every dog.

We do everything we can to avoid euthanasia, but the reality has been incredibly difficult for our team lately. Make a difference by visiting us at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Intake has reached new highs over the past month. Every kennel is full, and our shelter space is stretched beyond its limit. There are currently 534 dogs in our building, and at least 39 need to leave the shelter by 8pm. We cannot keep up without the help of fosters and adopters.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering or adopting, now is the time. Visit us today at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
