Maudes Hen House We have 12 hens of various breeds. Once they start laying, eggs are available for $4 per dozen.

We sell chicken eggs from a variety of our hens (Americana, Barred Plymouth Rock, Buff Orpington, Golden Laced Wyandotte, ISA Brown, Lavender Orpington, Olive Egger, Rhode Island Red, Speckled Sussex, Welsummer). These are fresh, not pasteurized, not fertilized and ready to eat.

Here is a peak inside some of the automation of our chicken coop. This is from when we originally set it up back in 2017, so it is a bit outdated. This year we upgraded the chicken door to be controlled by Alexa based on the time of the sunrise & sunset.
