We're excited to announce a fun bulletin board we've put up in our clinic!

Each month, we bring you a face for Pet of the Month. We like to celebrate patients who've lept over medical hurdles, who've been very brave for visit after visit and were troopers through it all. All of our Pets of the Month have had extraordinary backgrounds and we felt it appropriate to make something for the whole year!

In a team effort, our staff put together a board representing each month for the year! It includes a picture of that month's pet and a small biography. We cannot wait to fill it up and show you what it looks like in December once we've celebrated 12 pets!

Did you know tuxedo cats have multiple days to appreciate them? While we subscribe to loving them every day, January 29th is one of those days meant specifically for tuxeo cats! They're always dressed to impress and are quite the loving pet to have. Sylvester the Cat and Cat in the Hat are both tuxedo cats!

Happy Tuxedo Cat Day!

Today is National Seeing Eye Dog Day.

We celebrate the work that these pups put in for their handlers; not only to they help those in need, but they help people gain confidence and independence through the work that they do each and every day.

The Seeing Eye Dog school started in 1929 and continues to be a sustainable guide dog school.

We want to give this school as special thanks and shout-out, and all the dogs they've trained to be the eyes and ears of so many a big hug.

Did you know that January 22nd is one of the days dedicated to Yorkies? Commonly celebrated August 1st as well, it gives us another reason to celebrate these spunky dogs. With roots tied to rat-catching, earning their keep amongst mines and mills before they retired for companionship with royals. The Yorkie ranks in the top 15 most popular breeds, and we think they are fabulous!

Let us tell you about our Buddy! πŸ‘‹

Starting us off strong for January and the start of 2025 is Buddy! He's an adorable Corgi who always brightens up our day with his lively personality. He's been seen by our clinic since he was a puppy; it's been so fun watching him grow up into the confident pup he is today!

Thanks, Buddy, for being awesome, and congratulations on being the first Pet of the Month for 2025!

Happy International Day of Veterinary Medicine!
Did you know that vaccines, organ transplants, and medicines found their origins in veterinary medicines before making great strides in human medicine?

It's a special day where we can say a world of gratitude for all of those who have contributed to the science and fascination of veterinary medicine, and praise our staff for their dedication.

From Dr. Vail's personal approach to the way our technicians engage in fun with each other and the patients, they all brainstorm new ways to bring modern medicine with a caring approach to each and every pet. We are so grateful and proud of the work our staff put in!

Happy International Day of Veterinary Medicine!

December is National Cat Lover's Month!

From kittenhood to adulthood, cats fill our lives with a little bit of mischief, sass, and a lot of purrs. This month is especially for those who describe themselves as cat purr-sons.

We think they're pretty great!
