People often want to know for horses “what are the most common ailments you treat?” Aside from maintenance sessions (recommend once a month), most common things have to do with hooves and legs.
Thankfully the zoom paddle and box are great tools for laminitis, founder, abscess, navicular and cellulitis. Have had proven success treating these issues with PEMF.

Happy Show Time, West World is just around the corner! Here are some fixes to some common problems at the show!

Problem #1: How do I marry my polo wraps that are the same color?
Fix: Cut a pattern into the end to easily identify which wraps go together.

Problem #2: Have a hard time pulling up and down those boot zippers, or they are broken?
Fix: Attach a small loop of a zip tie to the zipper pulls. This helps your grip when wearing gloves too or if you have arthritis.

Problem #3: Your horse gets lonely in his stall at the horse show - missing his buddies?
Fix: Hang a safety mirror in his stall that way he doesn't think he is alone. Warning: if he is food aggressive hang it away from his food source.

Problem #4: Have bottles that leak liquid?
Fix: Use an empty mushroom container to contain and soak up the leaks. Hoof polish fits perfectly in these.

Problem #5: Need to crush up some pills into a paste?
Fix: Spoon them into a syringe and suction some water, then shake to dissolve. No mess and meds are ready to go.

More fixes to come next week!

Check out my favorite below!

Q: Is PEMF helpful for dogs in agility training?

A: Absolutely! Because PEMF helps give energy to the cells, reduces inflammation, and reduces stiffness and soreness, animals who are considered “Athletes” reap a lot of benefits from PEMF.

Our show clients get so many benefits from their PEMF treatments! During any type of riding the horse’s neck and body is being turned and pulled in a lot of different directions. In order to keep them in top show shape PEMF oxygenates the cells and helps recover quickly from their workouts.

Some of my clients love the large wing loops. I can tell when my client is relaxing into the treatment by the way they put their head down, relax their eyes, and maybe even begin to fall asleep. The goal of the session is to get the horse to relax as much as possible. By getting them into a parasympathetic state you are helping them to heal more rapidly.
