Welcome to the fine art of home barrel aging. At Old Republic Barrels we are excited to share our passion. With our barrels you can age and flavor your liquor and wine to the taste you prefer! The only difference between top shelf and bottom shelf liquor is the age. Our barrels are used to turn your cheap bottle of whiskey, tequila, rum, bourbon, scotch, brandy, wine or any other liquor into a del

icious bottle of single barrel, hand crafted reserve. It takes years to do in a large 55 gallon oak barrel but you can do it at home in just a few weeks! Our American White Oak barrels will age your liquor in 16 to 32 days. These personal sized White American Oak barrels are hand-made. They make great gifts since they can be custom engraved for your personal pride or great for corporate branding. Our barrels come in 1 and 2 liter sizes all the way up to 20 liter sizes. These American White Oak barrels are charred on the inside, which is a process that caramelizes the sugar in the wood. Your favorite alcohol is poured into the barrel, sealed with a bung and aged to add depth and character. The spirit (or wine) will pull flavor out of the wood, infusing the liquid with earthy and vanilla tones. Hotter temperatures expand the spirit, pushing it into the wood and cooler temperatures draw the liquid and flavor out. This process is repeated everyday, for weeks to months.
