Our first group of competitors are ready to do their presentations for the first session our Celebrity Ranch Trials Buckle Series!
This Friday at 1 PM our arena will be closed for one hour for testing. Quiet spectators are welcome.

Looking for something different to do with your horse? Our new program combines a lesson program with an awards program! These "Trials" go perfectly with training for Western Dressage, Cowboy Dressage, ETS or Working Equitation! Check it out. You can practice the patterns and get in any desired lessons on the elements and schedule your presentation any time prior to the closing date! Patterns for the first Trial session come out tomorrow!

I'm looking for sponsors for the levels I competed in CAWDA this year on Struttinlikacelebrity and After the Gold Rush. These two horses trained well this season with a few monkey wrenches tossed in- Little Jo's coffin bone bruise in the spring and Alex's hot nail incident in the fall. We were reminiscing about Steve’s 25 years with Traveler last night over dinner. They’ve ridden trails together in Arizona, Oregon, and California, and I shared the trail with the two of them often, covering many miles all around Arizona; San Tan, Usery, C***s Bluff, Sycamore Canyon, even Tombstone in a hail storm! Many dusty desert miles of conversation and horsemanship forged a forever bond. Traveler was how I met Steve Locklin. I lost a big piece of my heart today.

Rest, peacefully, dear Traveler. Trail compadre, lesson horse, flat footed, silly, spooky,furry, and friendly boy, run free now with your old herd mates Vanna, Lily, Amber, Hunter, Tommy and Mickey. I know I’ll see you again- hopefully a long time from now.

Huge congratulations to Pam Brown- Poissoit and Celebrity Apprentice! They placed 2nd in the IH today and 1st in both the OC and TC at intermediate level at the Mesa AZ ETS event! This pair was one placing above their trainer in every class today! 😂🤪🤠
Congratulations also to Ronda, Kim and Josie and anyone else I’m missing from this post! It was a gorgeous day in November, this is why we love it here!

What a fantastic day for Celebrity Ranch Horsemanship at Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds for ETS in-hand and mounted obstacle challenges! Our team represents well! If you’d like to learn how to work better obstacles there could be a place for you in our program! Private, group and mini clinics offered at our Chandler location.

It was great to be back in the show ring! Carefree Farms WDAA show today. Little Jo’s injury occurred at this venue earlier this year and the time off and recovery process really placed limitations on our show season. We rode Basic level only today.
