Eevee is a 3 month old puppy who had her first professional grooming introduction today.

Bringing your dogs in when they’re puppies is simply the best thing you can do for them grooming wise. By starting early, they’re able to grow comfortable with the process making this essential part of their lives easy and enjoyable. Eevee’s intoduction groom included a bath, dry, brush, ear cleaning, nails and trimming on her face, feet and potty areas. We’re excited to see her grow bigger, as well as more confident in the grooming salon.

UPDATE: Power has been restored! We will be open for normal business tomorrow!

We just wanted to update everyone. The shop is good and still standing after yesterday’s weather. The groomers and shop cats are also safe. The worst part of the storm passed just south of us. Fuquay rd south of Jenner rd. had multiple trees down and quite a bit of damage, so travel through there may be difficult. We are still currently without power, but hoping we get it back soon. We will be reaching out to people if we need to reschedule appointments over the next couple days if necessary. Our thoughts are with those that suffered damage with these storms and hope everyone stayed safe!

Delta the 6 month old Shiba Inu puppy had his first professional grooming today and he did fantastic ❤️
Getting your puppies introduced to grooming at an early age helps to make them more comfortable and confident with grooming as they get older.

This handsome Bear had quite the trans”fur”mation today! He was a bit overdue for grooming, so his coat was very thick and full. We got out a lot of undercoat to make him happier and more comfortable. We are looking forward to seeing him again in 6 weeks to maintain his handsome look! Spring has certainly sprung here at the shop! And that means one thing…shedding season!!!!! Jelly and Mya got their de-sheds today and are feeling great! Leaving so much hair here, there will be less hair around at home! Call today to schedule a deshed for your pet! (812)306-3015

This is Mya! Ever wonder what our deshed process looks like? The video is a 30 minutes compressed into 30 seconds! We use the high velocity blower to blow out and loosen the hair before the bath starts, then we use a high quality shampoo and conditioner to wash them in along with a couple different tools to help loosen more of the hair in the bath. If the they are shedding a lot, we will sometimes wash them twice to get even more out! Then we rinse and blow out their hair even more! Not videoed is what is after the tub, and we blow them out more on the table and brush using different tools to get even more hair out so it’s not all over your house! Mya loves her grooming! She feels so much better afterwards! An after picture is in the comments!
