One Dog Arizona is a 501c-e charitable organization. We save animals from being put to sleep in Arizona shelters. Through constant networking via email, Facebook and adoption events we place them in loving foster homes until they find a permanent home. Our fosters are the best ever! They provide the time and attention these dogs so desperately need--Basic training, good nutrition and lots of love are given to them each day.

This sweet older gentleman needs a new home. Here’s what his family said about him.

Apollo is 12 years old around 85pounds. He absolutely loves people but, dislikes cats. He gets along with some dogs. He likes going on walks but, does pull on the leash when he is excited. He rarely ever has accidents in the house, uselessly only happens when he eats something he shouldn’t. He hates laying on the floor, he has to be on a soft dog bed/ sofa or he will whine the whole time. His activity level is middle or low. Most of the day he spends sleeping. He eats open farm wild ocean recipe. He has an appt on Saturday for his yearly vaccines.

And just like that—this darling mother daughter duo walked into the pet store during our adoption event, and fell in love with Mr.Knightley. He has a brand new family and a great new name too. He is now Oakley!

His beagle mix brother & schnauzzer sister sure had a lot to say about his arrival. They are older pups that will teach this young pup the ways of the house. And may even join in for a play session or two.

Welcome home Oakley! You will be loved and adored.
