Valley Dogs Rescue - Phoenix Arizona Our mission is to rescue dogs that have been abandoned, neglected, or otherwise placed in harm's way; to provide temporary housing for adoptable dogs.

Valley Dogs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization whose mission is to rescue dogs that have been abandoned, neglected, or otherwise placed in harm's way; to provide temporary housing for adoptable dogs, and to promote and encourage the responsible care of pets, especially spaying or neutering, micro-chipping and vaccination of dogs and puppies. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge.

‼️ New Year's Eve is a time when many pets go missing and is 2nd only to the 4th of July for pets killed or injured by vehicles ‼️

‼️ PLEASE secure your pets safely indoors, away from windows. Staying home and crating them with soft toys and a radio or TV playing is always your best choice. Lock your gates, and make sure your pets cannot dig under fences or gates, or jump over fences or walls. Have them microchipped and ensure they have current ID tags on at all times. THEY are counting on YOU to keep them SAFE‼️

Please be considerate of ALL pets and wildlife. Fireworks kill animals!

⚠️Please take extra precautions to keep your pet safe right now
⚠️Keep them indoors as much as possible, and keep them on a leash when you go outside. Dogs will absolutely try to escape from fenced yards if frightened by fireworks.
⚠️Make sure they always wear a collar with tags that have your current contact information, and that their microchip information is updated if you've changed anything.
⚠️Create a safe place for them to hide if they get frightened, and start helping them associate it with positive things beforehand by using their favorite bedding, toys, and treats.
⚠️Take a clear photo of them to help with searching later in case they do escape.

Tonight will be terrifying for most pets and one of the most dangerous times of the entire year. More pets will go missing tonight than at any other time. Please keep your pets safely inside with identification on them. Microchipping your pet is one of the best ways to help a finder identify them, but this only works if your contact information is on file and up to date.
