Heatstroke can occur quite quickly and is an emergency!

Dogs that are especially prone to heatstroke include: overweight/obese dogs; short muzzled dogs (like bulldogs and pugs) dogs with cardiovascular disease, older dogs or those with a dark/dense hair coat.

When in doubt, keep your pets inside where it’s cool! 😎

It's HOT out there! ☀️ 🔥 Please be cautious about having your dog accompany you to outdoor events (especially if they are on pavement!) and be sure they have lots of shade and fresh water when they do need to be outside. Do you know how to recognize signs of heat stroke in dogs?

If you observe these signs, get your dog out of the heat and to a veterinarian immediately - heat stroke can escalate fast!

The aerosols generated by mopping with commercial-grade lemon🍋- or pine🌲-scented chemicals can be inhaled deep into the lungs 🫁 (by both humans and animals) causing irritation and leading to health issues 😷 like allergies, and more.

So can you have a clean floor AND clean air? Also yes! 🥳 Researchers found that use of an air purifier during mopping can significantly reduce the concentration 📉 of harmful aerosols.

🧽 You can also try one of our pet-safe floor cleaners:
1 gallon water
2 cups white vinegar
1-2 cups rubbing alcohol
1 tsp natural dish soap
Optional: 5-10 drops of bergamot, lemon, or other pet safe essential oil

🪣 Combine in a bucket to mop. Can be added to a spray bottle for spot cleaning. No need to rinse.
