The final photo is a close up of Mitsuri mid-playtime and we think she’s hilariously adorable!

Great information!!! Keep your fur babies safe!

🎆 The 4th of July is coming! While we all love celebrating our nation's freedom, it's important to remember that the festivities can be terrifying for our furry friends. In the dog rescue world, it's well known that the 4th of July results in many pets going missing due to the fear of fireworks. Here are some important tips to keep your pets (or foster pets) safe this holiday:

1. Keep Them Indoors: Ensure your pets are inside during fireworks. The loud noises can scare them and cause them to run away.
2. Create a Safe Space: Set up a comfortable, quiet area where they can retreat if they feel scared.
3. Update Their ID: Make sure your pet's ID tags and microchip information are current.
4. Distract Them: Use background noise like TV or music to help mask the sound of fireworks.
5. Stay Calm: Your pets can pick up on your anxiety, so try to stay calm and reassuring.
