IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATES….
I hope you all are having a safe and healthy winter! Thank you to everyone who has continued to support small business and help us weather the storm, so to speak.
The one piece of the puzzle that has not come together, like for so many others, is staffing, and since my business is service-oriented, time specific and physically laborious a lack of staff means minimal work can be scheduled/performed.
After March 1, 2022 I will be the sole staff member and am making the decision to temporarily cease evening, weekend and holiday pet sitting visits with the exception of cat sits. It is physically impossible for me to carry the Monday-Friday midday dog walks, evening visits and walks/visits all weekend as well. If you already have a reservation confirmed it will be honored of course, I will just not be accepting any further reservations.
I am hoping to restart that service by May 1 but only if I am staffed appropriately. My oldest son is graduating high school and moving off to college, and my time in late spring and summer will be exceptionally limited.
If you are in need of a referral there are many, many outstanding pet sitters that service our area and I am happy to provide information to you. Also if anyone has a genuine emergency (sudden death in family, situation beyond your control etc) please reach out and I’ll see what I can do.
