Gator wasn’t feeling his best when he came to UrgentVet Chapel Hill - he’d been vomiting and drinking more water than usual. After gentle care, radiographs, and some supportive treatment, this sweet 7-year-old was back to his waggy-tailed self and ready for some well-earned rest. 🐶💚

He handled his visit like a pro and charmed us all with his calm, cuddly personality. Feel better soon, Gator - we’re so glad we could help!

Hot days can lead to thirsty pups - just ask Honcho! 🐶💧
This sweet Rottie visited UrgentVet Chapel Hill after his family noticed he was drinking more water and needing more potty breaks. After a full exam, we discovered he was simply overheated and in need of some hydration. No serious concerns - just a warm day and a very good boy!

Honcho was a total champ (yes, that’s a treat balanced on his head like a pro 🦴) and had all of us swooning with his calm, gentle nature. We’re so glad he’s feeling better and staying cool. Hang in there, Honcho - summer’s just getting started! 💙

Say hello to sweet Peanut Butter! This adorable 3-year-old kitty came to visit us at UrgentVet Chapel Hill because she wasn’t feeling her best due to some eye discomfort. Even though she wasn’t 100%, she was an absolute angel during her appointment! 💛

With some gentle care and a round of antibiotics, Peanut Butter went home ready to start feeling better. We’re so glad we could help her get back on the path to purr-fection!

Finnegan - a playful pup had a little too much fun in the yard and ended up with a sore paw that had him limping and licking. His loving parents brought him to UrgentVet Chapel Hill to make sure everything was okay.

After some gentle snuggles and a set of radiographs, our doctor didn't find any fractures or tears—just a minor injury from his yard adventures! Finnegan was treated with some supportive care and sent home to rest (and maybe take it easy on the zoomies for a few days!). Feel better soon, Finn! 💙

Say hello to our superstar patient, Clarke!

Clarke came to UrgentVet Chapel Hill with some tummy troubles, but he handled his visit like an absolute champ! We performed a blood draw and radiographs, and he was such a cooperative boy the whole time - tail wags included! With some subcutaneous fluids, a few injectable meds, and lots of love from our team, Clarke left feeling much better. The doctor sent him home with supportive care medications so he can keep healing and get back to being his happy, playful self! Feel better soon, Clarke! 🐾💙

Meet our tiniest hero of the day! This sweet kitten was found under a recycling bin by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who couldn’t leave him behind. Thanks to their compassion, this brave little explorer is now safe, sound, and starting a brand new chapter.

His new family brought him to UrgentVet Chapel Hill for a wellness exam, and we estimate he’s around 4–5 weeks old. He’s healthy, feisty, and already stealing hearts! We love happy beginnings like this — and we're so glad we got to be part of his first big step in life. 🐾

Yesterday, our team at UrgentVet Mckinney had the solemn honor of providing care for K9 Officer Azi, a devoted partner who gave his life in the line of duty. Azi was a hero, a protector, and a beloved member of the McKinney Police Department.

Our hearts go out to Azi’s handler, fellow officers, and all who knew and loved him. His dedication and bravery will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, K9 Officer Azi. You were deeply loved, and your service will always be remembered. It was a privilege to care for you.

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING 🚨

The McKinney Police Department has released an official statement regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 13, 2025, at the Red Roof Inn on 1300 North Central Expressway.

The investigation remains active and has been turned over to the Texas Rangers. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
