Spring cleaning your carpets?

Proper use of carpet deodorizing products should not cause significant harm or injury to pets. Should your pet accidentally come in contact with the freshly applied powder, we recommend washing their paws with mild soap and water to avoid minor skin irritation.
Minor ingestion of carpet freshener powder generally results in a mild stomach upset. If a small amount is inhaled, minor respiratory irritation may occur, resulting in sneezing, coughing, or a runny nose. Because of this, it is a good idea to continue to keep your pets out of the room until after you have vacuumed up the powder.

The cold winter months are upon us in most areas of the US. Outdoor pets will need extra love and attention to ensure they are protected from the elements. It is important that outdoor cats and dogs have access to a shelter for warmth and to be protected from weather such as snow or rain. Always allow access to fresh water that is not frozen along with food. Some outdoor animals may require extra calories throughout the winter months as pets will expend more energy trying to stay warm in colder environments. Ideally, when the temp drops below 32, bring outdoor pets inside during the overnight hours to ensure they stay happy and healthy.
