What an honour to be at the Best of Chapel Hill party last night. My students voted for positive force free training. I’ve spent my whole career making training a partnership with our dogs. Not something we do to our dogs. My students agree with me. Thankyou to everyone who voted for me and for humane training for their dogs.

When you are a very good dog, and laying quietly under the restaurant table and a stupid person (my mum) spills her salsa over me. I didn’t see this category when I took my Canine Good Citizen test.

I went to work with Chewy and his family yesterday. The little kids in the family were horribly disappointed when I turned up. They had been told “Chewy’s dog teacher is coming” and they thought that would be another dog! Instead they got boring me. 🤣🤣 we had fun anyway!

Marmite under the electric blanket with her piece of pizza. We gave it to her at dinner last night, she carried it to bed (ask me what a piece of dried pizza crust feels like on your bare feet at night…) then she brought it onto the couch this morning. Her little treasure!
