Wildwoods is a safe haven where LGBTQ youth and community can gather, socialize, and support each other while connecting with nature through farming and gardening. We are inclusive and a place of peace and welcome for the LGBTQ community and all of our friends and supporters.
TINY HOUSE Lot for Rent on Community Farm: We have a tiny house lot for rent on our community farm in Chapel Hill and potentially a lot in Hillsborough. You MUST participate in the community farming a few hours a week to rent at this location- you can help with admin; maintenance, nonprofit help; or the farming/gardening. Rent is $425 plus utilities.
Work Exchange for Tiny House Lots and Cabins : We are looking for a couple individuals to help with our nonprofit farm; we have several positions from administrative to helping around the farm to construction. No experience necessary but skills are definitely a plus. You will responsible for your own electric and other utilities. Hours are flexible and will be just a few hours a week. Volunteer Day- Family Friendly: Help Grow Plants at the Farm. We will be seeding, weeding and doing cuttings for the Nursery. April 27th at 10am. We still need some help on our Social Committee for this Spring and Summer. Help create fun events for everyone including picnics, parties, dinners, game nights, and other socials! We have a ZOOM meeting on April 25th for anyone who is interested

Get Ready! We are going to launch our PRODUCE BOX SIGN-UP for 2024! If you want a fresh box of veggies from the Farm let us know and we will put you on the contact list for the launch. Holiday Party Volunteer Organizers Needed for Farm Party!
$3 bok choy and lettuce for sale!
We have an overabundance of bok choy (joi choi variety) and lettuce (speckled bibb lettuce) that we're looking to sell this Friday in between our regular biweekly variety produce box sales.
If you're interested in purchasing some, send us a message with how many lettuce and/or bok choy you'd like at $3 each, free pickup or $5 delivery.
Pac choi is a customer and farm favorite!
Here are a couple recipes shared in the community:
Sautée your pac choi with crushed garlic and salt and pepper!
Cut your pac choi into strips and eat in a salad with crushed peanuts and soy sauce. Yum!
