Unfortunately we have to announce that we aren’t able to stay open today due to continued illness. The clinic will be open and taking calls this morning until noon today to allow for prescription pickups and refills. After that, we will be open again for business as usual on Tuesday, December 26.

If your pet needs urgent or emergency care, please contact one of the local animal emergency hospitals or urgent care clinics in the area.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you and your families have a safe and lovely Christmas. ❤️

Unfortunately a flu outbreak has taken out most of our staff this week! Friday we will only be open for phone calls, while today and tomorrow we will do our very best to continue seeing appointments with one doctor and a skeleton crew. Please be patient with us as we do our best to continue to take care of your babies ❤️ We hope all of you stay healthy and happy for the holidays! ❤️

Update: These girls are safe! Huge thanks to everyone who cared and shared, because you made a difference. ❤️ A wonderful rescue group will be taking them in and finding a great home for them, hopefully together.

Edit Tuesday: We have a wonderful rescue group that has offered to take them! ❤️❤️❤️

ETA Monday: We’re so glad everyone is sharing this post! Unfortunately we haven’t had a single call about these babies. Please call our clinic at 803-345-7387 if you are interested or able to help, and we will put you in touch with their current caregiver. We don’t have these girls at the clinic and are trying to find a way to help them. We have been told that they will end up being taken to the nearest shelter if they are not rescued by this Thursday unfortunately, and our local shelters are full of dogs, and they are not no-kill shelters. 😞

These two adorable dogs are patients of ours who need help, and we are sure there is someone out there who is ready to open their hearts for these sweet little ones.

Their owner passed away, and these girls urgently need a new home or foster to take them in. Heidi and Gracie are both 4-5 years old, and would do best if they can stay together. Heidi is a dachshund/corgi, and Gracie is a dachshund/poodle mix.

If you are interested or able to help, please give us a call and we will put you in touch their current caretaker.

Did you know that lilies are extremely dangerous to cats? If a cat ingests any part of the plant (flowers, leaves, even pollen!) it can cause sudden and fatal kidney failure. It's best not to even have any lilies in the same house as your cat since they are so toxic.

So if you're planning to present your loved one with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, make sure to leave out the lilies if they have feline furbabies or your gift might not have the impact you were hoping for. The good news is that roses are a non-toxic and beautiful alternative to declare your love!

With the New Year rolling in this weekend, we wanted to remind you to double check your supply of any anxiety medication or sedatives that your pet may need to get through the noisy celebrations safely and comfortably.

For some odd reason animals aren't as excited about the new year as we are, and don't understand that the loud explosions are in fact fun and not the end of the world. If your pet hates thunderstorms and loud noises, odds are they won't enjoy fireworks either so make sure they have a safe, quiet place to stay on Saturday night.

Since we require 24-48 hours to process medication refill requests, please call us before Friday if you need more medications for the weekend so that we can make sure you and your furbabies have a great New Year!

We still have a few kitties left who would love to spend the new year in a warm and happy home!

We have one kitten left! He is a male black and white kitten, and he went from being the most frightened and wild of the bunch to being the sweetest little guy. Since his siblings were adopted, he has blossomed into a sweet and cuddly purbox who loves to snuggle. Due to his age, he has not been neutered yet.

Jingles is the mother of the kittens and she is incredibly adorable and playful. She loves snacks and toys, and plays more than her kids did! She is around 1-3 years old, spayed, and felv/fiv negative.

We now have another young cat that was a stray hanging around the clinic as well. She is a beautiful female orange tabby, around 6-8 months old. She is more on the quiet side and a little shy, but very sweet. She has recently been spayed and is felv/fiv negative.

If you are interested in adopting any of these sweet kitties, please give us a call! 802-345-7387
