Our last french lop is looking for a new pet home. We have kept Critter in our home for the last 2 years. He is around 3 years old. He has lived in our crazy house with 2 kids under 5, 2 loud dogs, and a cat. This guy is a chubby lazy house trained rabbit.
Critter takes care of himself well and doesn't require much attention. He is free range in the house and uses his litter box as needed. While wires are a favorite snack of his, my wooden furniture and trim have been safe from his teeth for the most part. When he did go for some wood it was always when it had been a few days since he got a treat ball for stimulation, it was definitely out of boredom and once I figured that out after a few times he’s never been a problem again. He loves his hard Kong treat ball and will eat treats and veggies from you or your kids hands. He enjoys lazing around the house. You can stomp right by him and he won’t be bothered to move a muscle. You can pick him up and brush him. He has never bitten but about 15% of the time you walk by him (in our small house this is a lot) he will grunt and may strike out. He doesn’t like to be pet so sometimes I just remind him whose territory this is by petting him when he does that haha. He has no issues with keeping himself clean.
He comes with a litter box, his treat balls, and food. He is used to a nice cat litter box wooden enclosure that I can give a link for if interested. He likes to run there if the kids are bothering him so it would be in his best interest to have one.
