I know many of you saw the courtesy post for Sadie, the 10-11 year old Pit Mix that was suspected to be pregnant over the weekend. Thankfully, she was brought in Saturday where we found out she was in fact not pregnant, but was suffering with a life-threatening condition known as pyometra.
She immediately went into life-saving surgery, it is very likely she would have not survived until Monday. Sadie is doing AMAZING and as soon as she woke up from surgery, she was wagging her tail. She is the absolute sweetest dog. Sadie is still hospitalized at the clinic and she is being the best patient.
A huge thank you for the donation towards her care of $400, but we still need to raise another $219.70 for this girl. No amount is too small.
This is one of the many reasons why we say spay/neuter is so important! Had this girl been spayed, she would have never went through this. The older your female cat or dog gets without being spayed, the more likely they are to develop pyometra.
Let’s rally together for sweet Sadie and show her how grateful we are that she is still with us!
There are a few ways to donate, you can either call us at (304) 310-2355 or you can stop by to pay directly on her bill! Say it is for Sadie so we can credit it to her account. It takes a village ❤️
