PawMed is growing! We are a veterinary hospital in Charleston, SC working to shake up the veterinary world.
Weโre looking for reliable, driven, and team oriented client services representatives to join the client care team at PawMED.
This role will be responsible for the development and ex*****on of all facets of the company's client facing services in conjunction with the doctors, nurses, and management team. This will include but not be limited to client and primary care veterinarian communications, cleaning and facilities maintenance, brand management, medical record management, and some patient care services. This (and all positions in the company) will include front desk responsibilities including check-in, phones, and financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in veterinary medicine with a proven track record in client care. While experience and credentials are preferred these are not a requirement.
Specific Responsibilities Include
- Work with doctors and management to develop and implement client services operational standards and procedures.
- Helping to update, manage, and tweak protocols and procedures will be paramount to improving the service we offer clients.
- Clear, concise, and intentional communication with clients, doctors, colleagues, and management.
- Occasional interaction with agencies, vendors, and merchants will be required.
- Focus on excellence in customer service and client communication.
- Driven, timely, and organized workflow.
- Ability to clearly communicate in written communications.
- Medical record management
- Facilities management
Qualifications
- Strong affinity for dogs and cats - especially puppies and kittens.
- Creative and outside of the box thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to handle multi-tasking across multiple, varying projects.
- Strong writing and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (intentional, clear).
- Willingness to interact with clients, doctors, management, agencies, merchants, and vendors on a daily basis.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
1+ years of experience in client services - veterinary medicine or related field preferred
- An ability to manage simultaneous projects and responsibilities with a focus on prioritizing and organization.
Full-time, part-time, and relief positions are available!
Competitive compensation based on experience and qualification. Compensation may include health insurance, vision and dental insurance, retirement (401k), scrub allowance, and CE/license maintenance allowance.
Full time team members work three 12 hours shifts per week from 10am to 10pm with some weekend shifts required. We are closed on major holidays!
