Two available salt and pepper silkie chicks, straight run. Located in Coles County. This chick hatched from a pen with a variety of colors, black, dominant white silver base, buff, and blue.

Three available crested cream legbar cockerels. Located in Coles County. Perfect temperament and color egg genes to add to any laying flock for offspring to lay multiple colors of eggs. The two sires of these chicks are our sweetest flock members and are respectful of humans big and small and all their flock mates including chicks, hens and other roosters. If you have hens that lay brown these boys will throw green egg layers with them, blue will throw blue and white will throw pale blue. They are homozygouseaning two copies of the blue egg gene so no guessing on first gen crosses with these boys.

Boer/kiko mix doe, under 2 years old, first kidding was on March 17th she had a healthy single doeling. She was last exposed to our Nigerian dwarf buck mid May so she could be open or pregnant. Her doeling is sired by our Nigerian dwarf buck and she is solid red white pole and blue eyes. She is up to date on her cd&t but is due for a trim which I can do beforehand. She does ok but not great on a halter and is easy to handle for the most part, she LOVES fruit as treats, bananas, strawberries, fig newton's. She's gentle and sweet and didn't need any assistance kidding and is a great mom. Located in Coles County, pm for details

F1 olive egger pullets (s*x linked, black copper marans rooster over crested cream legbar hens) oldest ones are about 3 months old but all are off heat. Located in Coles County. Will lay a beautiful shade of green and are more prolific layers than their parent stock. Some are crested and some are not, some have feathers shanks and some are clean legged and most are black with a few starting to have a beautiful copper pattern in their feathering.

These will be the last chicks of this breed available for awhile as we are starting to hatch our spitzhauben and lavender Orpington chicks next week. Last year's f1 olive egger (marans/legbar) pullets are starting to lay so anyone interested in chicks from our breeding pen this year the bottom right egg is an example of what this year's chicks will grow up to lay. We are backcrossing these girls to a marans rooster so chicks that will lay darker green shades will also be possible from this year's pen.

Today we set up the rainbow starter pen. Our black copper marans rooster (Garth) will be covering black copper marans hens, F1 olive eggers (marans/legbar), and crested cream legbar. We will update when we start loading up the incubators from this pen. Chicks hatched from this pen will include black copper marans, F1 olive eggers, and BC1 olive eggers. Photos of eggs from these hens are in the comments.

One of Fabled Flocks greatest assets turned 1 today, Happy Birthday Appa!!!! Thank you to deBuhr"s Feed and Seed he loved coming to town for some amazing treats, the pork knuckle was his favorite but he kept his hoof close by as well.

*Silkies are getting a new coop and pen and will be available depending on when they decide to lay eggs so availability will be spotty but I'll do my best to hatch what I can throughout the hatching season and they will be posted along with chicks from our other breeds.
