SAD PUPPY UPDATE.
«Sissy" sadly lost her
fight to stay alive. Although she'd gained
10g yesterday and lost a little overnight as
expected she stopped fighting as I held
her in warm hands hoping to feed her for
the 5th time again today. She was a little
fighter. As a runt they usually are but for
whatever reason she took a big step
backwards last week and has not been
able to get back up properly.
RIP SISSY. The little
pocket dog.

Puppy update!….
40 degree heat! And Daisy & her babies are back inside this weekend. They are so big, ranging from 850grams to 1.3 kgs!
First round of worming this weekend.
Two dots is doing well and loves his bottle top-ups.
Little sissy is struggling but Brian is doing his best to get her through.

Tell me who would like this job? Two Dots (Male) and Two Dots’ Sister. These are the two little pups that we are helping Daisy with feeding. They spend the bulk of the day with their brothers and mum and the arvo and nights with Brian for feeding.
They are not growing as fast as their brothers, but once on solids, life will get easier and they will grow faster.
Two dots has one eye open as has two of his bigger siblings. The other four bigger male pups have both eyes open.

Just a quick update as midwife Brian has been up all night with Daisy birthing 10, yes you have it, 10 puppies! Just a quick snap before I head to work.
I think Brian told me there is eight boys and two girls but that could be a bit different in the cold light of the day. Exhausted Brian is now tucked away trying to get a little bit of sleep while Daisy settles back into motherhood

AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOGS PUPPY UPDATE! What a night! Starting at 12:15am and ending for me at 5:40am with 10 pups BUT to my surprise after getting up and counting them at lunchtime today there were 12 pups. Wow! Daisy you are a legend! Now to get them to the 10 day mark. 2hr feeding help on it’s way!
