Getting your dog to look for a picture is hard enough when you’re the one behind the camera… imagine them on your wedding day with all of the distractions. Here are some tips to help make sure your dog looks at the camera 📸

1. Don’t put all of the work on your photographer! Make sure you have someone lined up for this job before photos start.
2. Reduce the blur by teaching your dog a reliable ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ command.
3. Have your ‘behind the lens’ person give them treats BEFORE the photos start. They’re more likely to look at the ‘lady with the treats’ than some friendly stranger trying to help.
3. Have the helper keep them interested by using high-value treats like dehydrated chicken every couple of shots or pull out their favorite squeaky toy halfway through.
