It's Dental Month at West Ashley Veterinary Clinic and we are booking up quickly! Dental health is essential to keeping your pets happy and healthy. Dental disease doesn't just affect your pet's mouth. Other health problems associated with dental disease include kidney, liver, and heart muscle changes.
We only have a few spots left at the end of the month. Call today to schedule your pet's dental cleaning while space is available!

Found a Lost Animal?
If you find a pet that has been displaced, likely due to Tropical Storm Debby, here's what to do according to Charleston Police Department Animal Control:
1- Check for ID: Such as a collar or tag that may have the owner's information.
2 - Scan for a microchip: Take the pet to your local animal shelter to have them scanned. West Ashely Vet Clinic can scan for a microchip but we are unable to house lost pets. If the microchip is not registered, or the owner is unreachable, then you will need to contact Animal Control.
2- Report to Animal Control: If you can't immediately locate the owner, report the found animal by phone at 843-743-7200 or online at 911helpme.com. Follow the instructions that the officer gives you regarding the pet.
