You'll find us at the intersection of the Crosstown (US 17), Rutledge Ave and Line St. Simply take Rutledge Ave in front of the building, turn left onto Line St and turn left into the first driveway where you'll find a large private parking lot. It's quite possibly the easiest address to get to in downtown. Meet Chowder! A 1 year old English Bulldog who’s a ball of happy! Being a bulldog in Charleston can almost guarantee environmental allergies. Chowder’s parents did their research and now bring him in monthly for his anti-itch cytopoint injection to help prevent any skin infections. I mean, look at this happy face; Chowder feels amazing in his skin and has no issue living in his favorite city!

With Spring almost here make sure to get ahead of any allergies! 🌷🐝

Happy birthday to our clinic cat, Rooster! 💛

Rooster came to us as a stray with a shattered pelvis unsure if walking was in his future. A year later, he is pure sunshine, a boy with the best personality, and full of love. CHV is his home, and he is our heart. ♥️

Not only does our tech team take care of our patients in clinic, a lot of them take care of patients outside of the clinic as well!

Our team does a lot of pet sitting whether it’s in their homes or at yours, dog walking, and even ‘your dogs plus one’ to weddings/events! If anyone is ever looking for the best care, text our clinic number with specific details and our team will work together to provide help.

Everyone meet Memphis, a golden who was given a second chance with a healthier and new lifestyle fitted for him! Memphis travels across new states and adventures with his family, has been shown love and care, and has met so many new friends. Big shout out to Memphis’s mom who has always wanted a golden retriever. She has provided a home that is safe and happy for her first dog and has made a big difference. Check out his transformation with these 2 photos! 🧡

As colder weather approaches we want to remind you to be aware of outdoor cats, and strays that could be using cars, or other equipment as shelter.

A few winter safety tips for your pets:
1. Protect the paws
2. Bundle up/ don’t leave outside for long periods
3. Continue with exercise, proper feeding & hydration

*fun fact about these two kittens: they were both brought to us as found strays by 2 different owners about a week apart, one being injured the other crying by a brewery downtown. Come to find out they are brothers, reunited at CHV! Both cats are happy, healthy, and in their loving homes! 🐈🧡
