What exactly IS a “luxury dog salon”? Why does my dog need “upscale grooming”?

The differences are many. Product is one key component that sets a high end salon apart from the rest. There is a monumental difference in cheap shampoo and quality. Whether conditioner is used to seal the coat back up in order to protect skin and hair and repel dirt.
I’ve seen firsthand in several salons people that are supposed to have the dog’s best interest at heart, using Ajax dish soap at $.88/bottle. I’ve used so many brands of dog shampoo and conditioner and sprays and coat sealants and detanglers. The one that stands out from the rest is ALWAYS Iv San Bernard. In the 22 years in this industry, none of their products have ever made the tops of my hands crack and bleed. The same cannot be said for most other brands. I’m proud to use Iv San Bernard at The Crooked Tail because my clients deserve the absolute BEST in skin and coat care.

*UPDATE* Thanks to all of your shares, sweet Nala got adopted! 💞PLEASE SHARE Nala is a female Siberian husky that is up for adoption at the Coles county animal shelter between Mattoon and Charleston Illinois. She is here The Crooked Tail getting a complementary groom. Her coat is very soft and seems like it will be easily maintained with grooming about every six or eight weeks with a professional groomer. She definitely needs to be in a home that is smarter than she is! 💡 she is a powerful💪🏼 dog and she knows her size; an active home that will commit to taking her places and socializing her and keeping her in some classes📚 would be ideal. She definitely needs her brain🧠 worked just as much as her body! She showed a few subtle signs of dominance in the first minute of meeting me. This girl definitely needs to go to a home that has experience with Siberian huskies! She would be excellent at pulling a bike🚴🏼‍♂️🏄‍♀️⛷️🛼 or roller blades or a skateboard with some guidance.
