Aquatic Creations LLC is growing again! As most of you know, we are a service company at our core. We do over 200 visits a month to homes, restaurants, and other businesses. Our client list is always growing, and we are taking on another large group of accounts very soon. With the influx of attention that requires our team in the field, we have made the decision to TEMPORARILY pause our open retail hours, so we can spend time getting up to speed with our new inventory management and pricing system. We know this will help us improve our field operations as well.

Of course, we will always be available to any and all who have questions, need equipment/services, and are looking for livestock, but we will be moving to APPOINTMENT ONLY visits on Mondays and Saturdays for the next few months. We hope to have the shop tightened up and running smoother than ever by Christmas or the 1st of the year at the latest.

Again, this IS NOT a notice of closure! We are stronger than ever and will be serving the Lowcountry for YEARS TO COME. We appreciate your support while we find some balance and work to continue bringing you an amazing experience every visit.

We apologize for the short notice, but Aquatic Creations will be closed today as our employees deal with Hurricane clean up and recovery at their homes. Don’t worry, the shop made it through fine! 💪🏻😮‍💨 We hope all of you made it through safely as well! If you are experiencing any equipment or livestock issues after the storm and have questions, please call! We will be open again on Monday as usual, and we hope to see you there!

Hello everybody! We just wanted to let you know that Aquatic Creations will be closed from Saturday, September 3rd through Monday, September 5th as we spend some time with our friends and family for Labor Day! We will be back to our normal maintenance routines on Tuesday, September 6 and will re-open again for retail on Saturday, September 10th. Thank you all so much, and have a happy and safe Labor Day!

**Holiday Hours**

Aquatic Creations just received an awesome order of Torch Coral! We have Indonesian Torches (doesn’t everybody?!), but we also have legally sourced Malaysian torches available in single heads! But if you need more instant gratification we also have colonies available!

We’ll be open today until 5pm! Stop by and check out these torches as well as many other corals, fish, inverts, frozen food, and dry goods! We’ll see you soon!

Service Technician
Job description: Service techs will perform on site setup and maintenance of aquariums (both fresh and saltwater), koi ponds, and water features. Maintenance includes residential and commercial service visits as well as service at our retail location in West Ashley. Store hours also available during and after open retail hours. Maintenance duties include cleaning filtration, water changes, fish/coral/invertebrate acclimation, equipment upkeep and/or repair

Job requirements:
• Reliable transportation and good driving record a MUST
• Experience in the aquarium hobby a MUST (additional training is available for the right fit)
• Sales and retail experience (not necessary, but very valued)
• Flexibility (Sometimes our schedule depends on the schedule of the client, and changes in daily duties may occur, so the ability to adapt is crucial)
• Mechanical aptitude (ability to use hand and power tools if needed for things like setups, repairs, or breakdowns)

Just want to remind our Charleston area residents to be aware of their tanks and ponds as we get ready for some incoming weather. Don’t forget to check/replace the batteries in your air bubbles and have them ready to put in the tank in case of a power outage! If you lose power be sure to CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT when it comes back on to make sure it’s all functioning properly. We will also be available for troubleshooting and emergency calls. Stay safe everybody!

Nothing quite like an entire Apex aquarium controller system setup to get the blood and saltwater pumpin! Our boy from has a GORGEOUS setup from in his living room/office space and any chance we get to put our hands on it is well appreciated! This system now boasts a full array of Apex gear, automatic water change capabilities and a full lighting package with XR30 Pros! Needless to say, we wish we could hang around this tank and it’s amazing owner ALL day EVERYday!!
