Just an update on Ra. The wound looks bad right now but it's not. His shell is actually starting to fuse back together!!! He's blind so I can't release him. But he's eating and drinking water and he loves apples! His favorite thing to do is hang out in his water bowl. You can even see it's fusing!

Right now I have to be selective about the turtles I take in. Right now my time is spent helping this guy get better. He was a victim of a car strike. But he's lived past the 4 day bench mark. He's going to lose one of his eyes. But he's going to survive. Meet Ra, named after the Egyptian sun god. He looks like he has little suns all over his back.
