Let's start by defining the Corgi, with its physical characteristics to know a little better the details related to its appearance, which allow us to recognize a breed animal:
· Hair: its fur is soft, smooth and slightly long.
· Ears: their ears are pointed and with the outer end rounded. They are large in size, between 10 cm and 11 cm and always remain upright.
· Tail: some are naturally born without a tail, but most are not, so by the fourth day of birth, a medical professional dock the tail to maintain the breed standard.
· Color: it can be presented with different colors, among which red, tan, beige, white and jet stand out.
· Height: Adult males measure about 10-12 inches (25-30 cm) at the withers, and adult females measure about 10-11 inches (25-28 cm) at the withers.
· Length: The body length of an adult Pembroke Welsh Corgi can vary, but typically falls in the range of 12 to 13 inches (30 to 33 cm) from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail. This measurement may vary slightly depending on the individual dog and its physical build.
