Today was exciting but we got shots and stayed up too long and feel a tiny bit ruff. We take loooooooong nap on our Clemson blanket and didn't even want to go outside for our night night potty break. We might leave stinky in the whelping box for Grammy in the morning. She says it's okay because we move into something called crates tomorrow. Sooooo tired. Nighty night.

Here we have Jennie Lee, Lucille laying down and taking it easy, Mamie Katherine still the smallest, Betty Sue, and Lillie Mae — all big and healthy and didn't even flinch when they got their shots. Such good little girlkins.

As expected, James and Brooks are the heaviest at 7.5 and 7.2 pounds. James wanted to give kisses and Brooks sat up like a proud, proper gentleman. The nurse was completely smitten.

Help us!!! We're in a cage and we don't like it. Grammy says our feet cant touch the floor of the veterinary clinic until we have all our vaccines but we want to explore and play and give cuddles to everyone!!!!

One of the great things about Boykins, but also one of the things that makes them not the right dog for everyone, is their desire to be near you at all times. These pups are less than 6 weeks old and already gather at my feet or nearby in the kitchen where I spend the majority of my time. They are the ultimate Velcro dog and I wouldn't want them to be any other way.

| love days like this when I can just leave the door open for the dogs and pups to take potty breaks as they wish. I have not had to clean up one puppy mess all day. Hooray!! Not bad for seven pups that aren't even six weeks old yet! Soon they'll be moving from the whelping box into crates. These weeks are flying by way too quickly. I have less than three weeks with these sweet babies.

I know teachers aren't supposed to have favorites but sometimes you can't help it. What a joy to teach CPR to a couple of my former favs along with their parents. I'm so very blessed and thankful for the wonderful people God has blessed me with throughout my teaching career.
