We do drop in visits in your home, where your pets are most comfortable. Hi, I'm Sarah! I have loved animals since I was a kid. No animal is too small.
(13)
I began working as a full-time pet sitter in 2021 after retiring from my teaching job of thirteen years. I have cared for animals on the side for just as long. I have worked with all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, fish and rats. I am certified in pet CPR and first aid. I pride myself on the high standard of care and services that I offer. I have a number of clients who have become more like
family. I can't wait to meet you and your babies! I offer drop in visits, dog walking and pet transportation services. My service area is close to the 28216 zip code. You can find my service area map on my website. Drop in visits

I had an emergency with yellow jackets this past week and thankfully knew what to do when the pup broke out in hives. Ironically, our last two sitters were scheduled to do training for two days this week.
Thank you to Luvyourpet for training our whole team of sitters!

Sarah Savoia was a preschool teacher for 13.5 years with a passion for animals! It was while teaching that she started pet sitting on the side, and in August 2021, Sarah embarked on her own animal-filled journey and started Pup City Petsitting. Sarah adores animals and advocates for them to have the best lives possible. She is passionate about working with animals and loves that she and her great team of sitters can provide enrichment that the animals may not get otherwise. If she’s not pet sitting, you may find her volunteering at your local shelter or reuniting lost pets with their owners. Pup City Petsitting serves clients in Charlotte, NC 28216, and surrounding areas and provides drop in visits, dog walks, pet taxis and occasional overnights. Find more information at www.pupcitypetsitting.com, or email Sarah at [email protected]. Thank you, Sarah, for taking such great care of our furry friends! We’ll see you soon for a pup cup!

Please please please consider taking a dog for a daycation or staycation, fostering or adopting. They are literally holding dogs on a leash, waiting for kennels to open so they euthanize as little as possible. My heart is breaking 💔
Animal Care & Control is completely full. Dogs are sitting with volunteers and staff, waiting for kennels to open up.
Please consider fostering or adopting a dog like Boston🖤🤍
- good in the car
- seems housetrained
- easy to walk wearing a harness
- medium energy especially for a young dog
- likes long walks, sniffing and exploring
- likes playing with toys
- knows “sit” and likes treats
- displays friendly body language with other dogs at a distance, but recommend always easing slowly into dog introductions
Boston is located at 8315 Byrum Drive (open 11-7 on weekdays). We have a satellite location, which is open from 9-5 every day at 2700 Toomey Ave.

I have no earthly idea how we ended up in two categories, but I’m thrilled! It’s a little misleading because we don’t exactly offer daycare and boarding, but we DO offer drop ins and dog walks. Whoever nominated me, thank you!! Pup City Petsitting
Vote once per day from July 8th through July 26th!

I know I’ve been MIA on social media lately. Chasing this dude around and working takes up ALL of my time. Rikki took a couple of weeks off from visits. I’m not sure who missed who more.
Gracie demonstrates how to properly give butt scritches for two dogs at a time while simultaneously filling out their report card 🤣
Sorry for the long post, but you’ll want to read this. I haven’t finished wrapping gifts. My house is a wreck. I forgot to go to the post office to mail two gifts. But I’m on top of the world. As some of you guys know, I’ve been delivering Christmas gifts to your houses if we watched your babies this year. If you haven’t received yours, that’s another thing that still hasn’t been checked off of this busy new Mom’s to do list. In checking with clients who haven’t used us in a few months to make sure they haven’t moved, one client told me she actually had moved but had a sad update. Oliver, her kitty gotten out of a window while she was preparing for her move. This was October 29th. On December 1st, she gave birth to her daughter. I found out about his disappearance on December 18th. If you’re Facebook friends with me, you know that I help run several lost and found pet groups and that I constantly post and give advice about lost pets. So I had to do my thang! I posted him. I had flyers made (thanks Christine from EPIC Animal Recovery!). I weather proofed them. I hung them. I saw him. I saw Oliver. But Oliver ran. So I reached out to a friend and borrowed some traps. But here’s the thing. If you have traps set out and it’s 8 degrees, you need constant eyes on it. This house is vacant. I live 10-15 minutes away. I can’t run out every hour to check the trap. So I used my doggie camera. Oliver’s neighbor let us connect to her wifi. And I turned on the notifications. Well, at 5:54 on Christmas Eve, guess who made an appearance? One hungry and cold kitty who thought he was getting a free meal. Little did he know, he was getting his family back. All the things I didn’t have time to do this week don’t matter. Oliver is home. He’s going to meet his new baby sister and everything will be okay again. How’s that for a Christmas miracle?! Also, I edited to include his real name. I’m so tired I put his brother’s name in this p
One of our clients gifted me Panthers tickets. Of course I was more excited about the Corgi Cup 🥹🐈⬛
Enjoy this video Amazon Photos made of visits from one year ago today. Missing sweet Tito and Keona so much 🥰
Pam has won the corner groomer! Derek won the treat ball! Patti won the puzzle feeder! Congrats to everyone! 🎊
Winners announced on this post and the next! Meant to do one video and messed up! Lamar has won the snuff mat!
This is Bailey. I was warned to be very careful because she can be aggressive. I’ve been bitten twice since I started this business so I know it’s not fun, but Bailey is very food motivated so that helped her be okay with me. Watch her work for her food below!
Time for another Puptown Pick! Does your dog eat too fast? Is she a large breed dog who is more susceptible to flipped stomachs? This wobbler feeder is great for dogs who get bored easily or eat too fast. It comes in two different sizes and you can adjust the hole to accommodate for different sized kibble or to make it more difficult to get out. Not only is exercise important for dogs, but they need mental stimulation as well. Link in the comments. #puptownpicks
