A reminder that keeping your pets up to date on their rabies vaccine is not required by law just for the fun of it. Rabies is very much a real concern for the animals in our community. We carry the safest rabies vaccine on the market so that we can protect our patients from this deadly virus while looking out for their long term health at the same time. If your pet is overdue for their rabies vaccine, call our office to get them on the schedule and make sure your family is protected!
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Animal Care & Control (AC&C) was notified by our liaison with the Mecklenburg County Health Department and Huntersville Police Department that a rabies alert notification will be sent tonight at 7:00 p.m.

Huntersville PD would like to take this opportunity to remind pet owners of the importance of keeping your pet’s rabies vaccination up to date. North Carolina rabies law requires that all owned dogs, cats and ferrets must be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age (NCGS 130A-185)
