Bert is a hefty girl at 550 grams - mainly due to health complications and battling superworm addiction. So…when it comes time to feed her I do these two things to help with weight management 1) small portions! She gets significantly less food than my other dragons and only gets bugs 1x a week. Salad makes up 90% of her diet 2) exercise! I make her run across my entire living room floor foor for a single bug! Its also a good way to mentally stimulate her as well3) variety! I offer a lot of different proteins for a healthy balance, Bert will only eat dubias 1x a month. Introducing reptile #24 into my home! This is Jimmy the Kenyan Sand Boa! He was surrendered to @a_dragons_den but since they don’t work with noodles, he’s staying with me! He was surrendered because he was no longer eating but I think with a nice enclosure, proper temps, and UVB he will be eating in no time!
