Barker’s Barkin’ Buddies is a pet sitting service that provides personal care for your dog. I started Barker’s Barkin’ Buddies after my two dogs passed away.

We provide walks, training, care for your dog at our home or yours, and we offer minimal grooming service. I wanted to be able to help other pet parents who needed a trustworthy dog sitter who would treat their fur baby/babies the same as they would.

Today Archie the Great made my day when he came to celebrate my birthday with me. He even made me a special birthday card. He’s such a sweet boy ❤️☺️ We have been having a blast playing and watching movies. Archie has even went out of his way to make me smile and feel special spending the day with him. He has even given me sweet kisses and cuddles. Thank you Archie for making me have a wonderful Birthday ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾

Barker’s Barkin’ Buddies are saddened by the news of the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office news of Deputy Drifter’s passing. Today the Sheriff’s Office had to make the hardest decision to put Deputy Drifter to sleep due to an aggressive form of cancer. He was loved by so many in the Sheriff’s Office and the community for his work as a therapy K-9. Deputy Drifter was es**rted by police es**rt to the crematorium as a salute for his service in Sheriff’s Department.

This week Archie created a Halloween Art Project at Doggy Daycare and we wanted to show off his work. He worked hard on it and wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween and hopes everyone will have a happy and safe Halloween.

Forgot to post pictures of the BBB Doggy Daycare’s star pupil. So I thought it was better late than never to post them now before I forget. As you can see Archie starts his day waiting by the door to get picked up for Daycare. Once he arrives he goes to get his special attention from Mekka, then he plays with his toys for a little bit before needing to take a nap. After he took his nap he was ready to play outside and enjoy the sunshine. Once he came back inside he wanted to snuggle on the couch and get his head, back, and belly rubbed while he watched TV. When the day was over he sat on the loveseat and watched for his dad to pull up to take him home.

We have definitely enjoyed getting to spend time with Miss Luna. She has been a joy to have here at the BBB House and we hope that she will come back again soon to visit. Until then we are going to enjoy the time we have left with her until her family comes to pick her up. So we are going to get in all the Luna kisses and hugs that we can, ❤️

Miss Luna has lots of energy and she loves to go walking around the neighborhood to get her exercise. She definitely likes to strut her stuff down the sidewalk.

This morning after arriving to Doggy Daycare Archie spent time with Mekka watching The Voice. He says that he likes Snoop Dogg as a coach on there and that from now on his new name is Arch Dogg, 🤣😂. After watching The Voice, Mekka and Archie enjoyed snuggling on her comfy bed.

After Archie’s nap and cuddles he decided it was time to go outside for his recreational time. He ran and played in the backyard until he got tired and decided to enjoy a little sunshine.

Before his dad came to pick him up he relaxed on the loveseat and watched his favorite show “Paw Patrol”, then it was time for him to wait by the door and watch for his dad to pull up to take him home for the day.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!! The lovable Lamb Chop has been assaulted and maimed this morning by an assailant in the Barker’s Barkin’ Buddies Home. Defendant Archie the Great was arrested this morning and charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery. He is accused of thrashing around Lamb Chop and ripping off both of her ears. The assailant was very athletic and ran when police arrived. He was chased down by the one of the fastest K-9 police officers that the police had on duty at the time. He is due to be arraigned later this afternoon and will be out on bail following the arraignment. He has a court date July 15, 2024. We spoke to his attorney Mekka T. and she told us that he says he is innocent of this crime. He said he didn’t do it and was framed by his brother Loki. We will keep you updated on this breaking news story as it develops.

Archie the Great started coming back to Doggy Daycare yesterday and we had to get pictures of him riding in the car yesterday and today to show how excited he is when he knows he’s on his way to Daycare.

Archie the Great had a blast riding to the BBB Doggy Daycare this morning. He enjoyed looking out the window as we drove the road past all the buildings along the way. We even stopped at a red light beside a school bus full of kids on their way to school. Archie was so amazed at the Big Yellow School Bus and watched it as we continued on our way to daycare. Since the weather was mild this morning Archie got to enjoy the fresh breeze of the air blowing through his ears and in his snout with the window down. When he got to daycare he enjoyed playing with his toys and got a brand new toy to play with. Archie is one cool/sweet dude and we love having him stay with us during the day while his parents are at work. This past weekend we had a visit from a Barkin’ Buddy we hadn’t seen in a little while. Our buddy Jenny, who is not so little anymore, came to visit and stay the weekend at the BBB House. When we first started training and taking care of our girl Jenny she was just a little puppy that was into everything. Now she has grown so much and can get into anything and can literally get or reach anything that she wants to get into, 😂🤣 We had a wonderful time with our sweetheart Jenny and can’t wait for her to come back soon, ❤️❤️❤️

This is why we call him Archie the Great, he definitely lives up to the “Great” part of his name. He doesn’t even need to take a run-a-go to clear the gate. Not even our biggest and/or tallest dog’s attempt to get over our gates. Archie makes it look like it’s no problem at all and makes it a fun game.

Miss Shiny Penny Jenny had a good day today learning at the buddies school. She enjoyed a nice walk this morning to stimulate her mind for learning. We worked very hard on old commands as well as a couple new ones; we even threw in a trick that she learned to do with one of her commands. After taking our morning walk, working on old and new commands and learning a cool new trick, it was time for a nap and snuggling up on the couch with the teacher.

Barker’s Barkin’ Buddies would like to introduce you to this little cutie. Her name is Jenny, she is a energetic little girl who is very eager to learn. She has been training with us for a week and half now and has been really good at picking up her basic commands.
