🆘SOS!!🆘 We desperately need dog food for our Dog Rescue!!

We are down to our last bag of dry dog food for our shelter dogs from CMPD and our rescues!!

Donations have been significantly down while we have been packed with pups, currently have 10 pups in our care!

Okay, someone seriously needs to come adopt Carl! He'll be ready on October 4th 🎃👻

He is the sweetest, funniest, goofiest guy 🥰❤️🐾

About Kraze Karl 🤣

• He loves water!
• He loves to zoom around in the backyard.
• He would do great with a brother or sister but could also be an only child IF he gets tons of exercise, love, and playtime!
• He is smart ❗️ If he went into a training program, he would excel
• He loves our calm, playful, dog-loving cat 🐈 😻

Medical -

• We think he is 1.5 years old
• Breed - Chiweenie
• He is scheduled to be neutered 🚫 on 9/25/24
• He is extremely healthy
• He seems to be at his ideal weight 🍎
• His teeth look great!

Things to work on -

• Personal space 🤣 Our dogs have politely corrected him a few times 🤣
• Marking territory in the house (This is likely because he is not neutered)
• Crate training (He's trying!! and doing great!)
• So far, he is getting a grasp on "sit" but will run out of the front door! He is fast and sneaky lol we'll work on this 🏆🏆

Urgent Shelter Update 🐾

This past week, 233 animals, including 111 dogs/puppies and 122 cats/kittens, entered Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control. Despite incredible efforts from our volunteers, fosters, and the community to foster, staycation, and adopt, our shelter remains as full as it was last Monday.

Animals Currently in Shelter:

Dogs/Puppies: 111
Cats/Kittens: 122
How You Can Help:

Adopt: Give a forever home to a pet in need.
Foster: Temporarily open your home to alleviate overcrowding.
Staycation: Give our dogs a much-needed break from the shelter environment.
