Our boy Blue deserves the spotlight this week. Since he joined the team in 2018, he has made some huge strides to his self confidence and how he navigates through life. From a dog who started in more select social groups to a social butterfly who helps other dogs blossom and learn how to socialize. Blue is a great role model for so many and we are so proud of this sweet man and how far he has come! 💙

Dog of the week is back!! Our man Henry is one of our original graduates and we hold him close to our hearts. He brings smiles and loves to let everyone know when he is in the building. Henry enjoys getting out into the world to explore and when he’s not doing that, he’s finding a cozy dog bed in one of our offices. We enjoy every minute we get to spend with our Hen Hen Henny!

We’re reaching out to ask for your support in helping some of our friends in the Asheville area who are in need of critical supplies. They will be coming to Charlotte to stay with one of our owners and stocking up to bring these much-needed items back to Asheville.

Specifically, we are gathering donations for travel nurses who have come to Asheville to provide essential medical care. The items they need include:

•Twin Sheets
•Pillows
•Non-perishable Foods
•Toiletries
•Nutrient-dense Snacks (Protein Bars, Canned Chicken/Tuna)

If you’d prefer to make a financial donation, you can contribute to Liz Cross, who works in the Asheville medical industry and will be delivering supplies to the area. Her Venmo is -Cross (to confirm you have the correct person, the last four digits of her phone number are 7470).

Additionally, we are also accepting non-perishable items to support those living in Western North Carolina who were affected by Hurricane Helene. We’ll be happy to transport these items to local drop-off locations in Charlotte. You can bring supplies when dropping off or picking up for your dogs from their stays with us, which will hopefully help with convenience.

Thank you so much for your generosity and support! Together, we can make a difference for both travel nurses in Asheville and those impacted by the hurricane.

This might be our largest crew! Nala and Simba have both been to us for training, and these two are nothing but gentle giants. When you have large breed dogs, that are often viewed by others as scary, you want to show everyone that with proper training, they can be the most friendly creatures around. Simba and Nala’s owners have two beautiful examples of exactly what the breed can be! But the fun doesn’t stop there, they have three French Bulldogs siblings that join us for boarding, daycare, and field days! This family has entrusted us with the care, knowledge, and support of their fur babies, and we value that endlessly. 5 stars for 5 dogs!

Dog of the Week!! This is Wyatt, who came to us years ago to work on some reactivity, socialization, and basic obedience. After he accomplished all of that, he was able to hit his stride, and became the most outdoorsy golden doodle I know! Playing at daycare, field days, touring Charlotte through Enrichment Camp, all fall on the list of Wyatt’s favorite things. Wyatt gets 14/13 bear emojis 🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸

This is Buddy! He had a lot of domineering tendencies that were complicated to manage in general, but especially so around a family. Buddy’s owners wanted more security in responding to the behaviors he was exhibiting and found that through our Sleep Away Camp program. Bringing your dog back home and having confidence in their abilities, and your own, strengthens the bond between dogs and owners! Buddy is a Dog Wiz Kid for life
