Unfortunately this is a scary time for those of us with dogs. Charlotte is seeing an uptick in this respiratory illness, similar to kennel cough but unfortunately can be deadly. Here is a detailed article. Please reach out to your veterinarian if your dog is experiencing any symptoms and let me know before I visit with your dog. I have dogs too and need to protect them the best I can. Thank you for understanding!

Some of these cases are becoming severe. Channel 9 spoke with Charlotte Animal Referral, who says they are seeing about a patient a day.
