Tommy is excited to go to work with his mom today. If you haven’t met her yet, Kayleigh is our amazing CSR. Tommy couldn’t wait to see all the animals and learn about the busy world of a vet hospital. He hoped to meet some friendly pets, watch how appointments are scheduled, and see firsthand how our hospital helps animals feel better.

We will operating on modified hours next week. We will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 8am- 5:30pm. We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day. If your pet is needing any medical services or any medication refills please call us at (704)741-9997 so we can assist in scheduling you an appointment or refilling a prescription.

February is National Pet Dental Health Month! It must be an important part of a pet’s life since they decided to dedicate an entire month to it!

Did you know that according to the American Veterinary Dental Society, dental disease is the biggest health issue for 70% of cats and 80% of dogs over the young age of three? Dental disease can not only be painful, but the bacteria from the infections in the mouth can also spread to other areas of the body, such as the liver and kidneys, and cause damage.

Some signs of dental disease may include:
- bad breath
- red, inflamed gums
- plaque and tartar build up
- sensitive mouth
- excessive drooling
- decreased appetite or anorexia
- oral abscesses
- irritability

If you are thinking about scheduling your pet for a cleaning, let us know! We will be offering a 10% discount on all dental procedures scheduled in the month of February.
