•Collar, tag & microchip your pet with up-to-date contact info
•Exercise your pet before fireworks start
•Feed your pet 1-2 hours before fireworks start
•Give anxiety medications 1-2 hours prior to fireworks starting
•Leave pets at home in a safe, quiet space
•Provide distractions, such as a toy or frozen treat
•Secure fences and exit doors
•Keep party/picnic food out of pets’ reach
