In the yard of One Lucky Pup,
A meeting was called, so all could sup.
With tails a-wagging and noses a-sniff,
The dogs gathered round, ready to riff.
•
“First on the agenda,” barked Charlie the Beagle,
“More treats at snack time, that’s my kind of regal!”
But Bella the Boxer, with a grin so wide,
Said, “How about more belly rubs? Let’s take that in stride!”
•
Then Rufus the Rottweiler, with a serious face,
Declared, “No more squirrels! Let’s keep up the pace!”
But before he could finish, a poodle named Sue
Squeezed through the crowd, yelling, “Squirrel! Overdue!”

Amidst all the chaos, a Chihuahua stood tall,
“Let’s vote on nap time! It’s best for us all!”
But just as they agreed, a frisbee flew by,
And the meeting dissolved in a wild puppy cry.
