Hanging on to three more Mini Lops, but unfortunately I am moving in a week and cannot take them with me. 😭 I have my two herd bucks left plus one junior doe, all of which are sweeties and would make a wonderful addition to any home. All of them are pedigreed with fantastic lineage! One of the bucks is a show quality, pedigreed Mini Lop buck (SG's Chip) who has the sweetest disposition and wonderful confirmation. He's super chunky and passes on amazing genes to his offspring. The other is QCR's Dickens, who is high-energy and affectionate. He has super sweet babies and passes on some wonderful color genes. The last is a chestnut agouti doe who is just under a year from QCR's Dickens and SG's Lucee. She is super sweet and shy, and would be a wonderful brood doe. Due to no fault of their own, I need them gone, so am willing to give package rates! I also have cages, waterbottles, tattoo equipment, and more that I would be willing to sell at discounted rate.

Time for the five week old update photo drop from QCR's Wren and SG's Lucee's litters! I am constantly surprised by how much the kits from these litters love each other; they are some of the sweetest sibling sets ever! These pictures only give a glimpse of their cuddles. They always seems to be spending time laying on, hanging with, or grooming each other whenever I do my barn chores 🥰

Two chestnut agoutis and two black chinchillas, what a perfect set these cuties are! From QCR's Wren and QCR's Dickens, these babies are fully pedigreed and have a high potential for show or brood quality confirmations. They love to cuddle and are such sweethearts!

Happy three week birthday little trio of chestnuts! I am already seeing promising confirmation in two of the three. While it is too early to fully judge show potential, it's a good time to single out which ones to watch....and get some cuddles. From QCR's Dickens and SG's Lucee, these adorable kits were begging for all kinds of love this morning. 🥰

Oh my goodness...can these siblings be any cuter? Just took the three week old update pictures for Twilight's litter, and I am absolutely in love. These sweeties adore cuddles and are already super responsive to my voice. It's also really cute having a chocolate self, blue self, and opal all in one litter together; it is such a perfect color palette 😂

Announcing the birth of three new litters! This is not a normal update post; these litters are a special installment in the story of Queen City Rabbitry. It has been a long and crazy journey, but due to (exciting!) personal circumstances I am having to phase out of this sweet, wonderful, and bunny-filled stage. Looking over the 4+ years I have owned, raised, and bred rabbits, I do not have a single regret. These animals have taught me so much about myself and the wonderful world of animal husbandry. Without them, I would never have been filled with the joy of cuddling new born kits or know the unparralleled triumph of expelling a warble or experience the weary-eyed satisfaction after ensuring all the bunnies were warm for below freezing temperatures. Although there has been much pain, frustration, and stress, I would not change an iota.

Thank you everyone who has participated in this wonderful adventure with me. You all have been amazingly positive and supportive. I really have been blessed to be able to work with such wonderful customers.

Who are these grown-up bunnies??? It's hard to believe that Twilight and Dickens' cuties will be leaving soon, but I'm excited for their new owners to meet them! They have such wonderful personalities, and I will miss them. 🥲

These two are polar opposites, but such sweet siblings all the same. Little miss coal-black is a high-energy fire-ball, who loves to explore and is not afraid to approach new things. The golden tipped opal is reserved, timid, and take a little longer to feel comfortable. They love cuddling together though, and even if they do not always act the same, they sure are loving sisters.

Today, I want to highlight one of our herd bucks, QCR's Dickens, who has sired many of the litters in our barn. A fun-loving, playful buck, Dickens is an opal that carries the self and chocolate gene, but also seems to carry chinchilla light. This unique genotype allows for the many wonderful colors in our barn, including chinchilla, chocolate, dilute, and self-based colors. He doesn't just pass on beautiful coats though, his massive head, ears, and chunky body are also passed down to help us work toward the goal of producing show quality mini lops. He's a homegrown, and I'm so proud of him! 🥰

QCR's Cinnamon is a young doe that would be perfect for a mini lop breeding program or pet home! Out of QCR's Wren and SG's Chocolate Chip, she's a QCR homegrown and has some winning genes. She's fully pedigreed, has good confirmation, and has a sweet disposition. Born May 12, 2022, she's not quite a year old and has never been bred, though her mom is an excellent mother.

In celebration of a new year, I am going to be making changes to the Queen City Rabbitry herd. I will be retiring a couple of my does to start the new year a fresh as I reorient my breeding goals. Send me a message if interested! QCR's Estella is one of these sweeties looking for a new home. She was born February 15, 2021 from FEP's Angrybird and G's Oliver litter. Estella is a couch potato with a love for pets and kisses. She has the characteristic mini lop chunkiness and has a unique black silver tipped steel colored coat. She would be a great addition to a family with or without children.

Lucee's cuties are growing up and losing their baby bunny chubbiness. Still impressed with their confirmation, particularly the chestnut agouti and lilac chinchilla. I'll try to post some posed pics soon!

QCR's Twilight had a litter! It looks like two self black and two unidentified gray colors. They are getting close to three weeks old now and eyes and ears are open.

It's been an eventful couple of days here at QCR. Not the least that the babies hit five weeks old and I can check gender! It looks like three bucks and one doe (the opal). For those of you on the wait list, I'll be sending messages soon so that you can make your reservation!

QG's Lucee's cuties are four weeks old now! It looks like I might have an opal, blue chinchilla, lilac chinchilla, and a chestnut agouti. Right now, they are all doing great with handling, though some (blue chinchilla, I'm looking at you 😂) have difficulties staying still. They just need some more practice, patience, and time. ❤🥰

QCR's Dickens and SG's Lucee's litter is almost three weeks old! Due to first time mom problems, Lucee had lost her first litter over a year ago because she didn't know to pull enough fur. Now, she's mommy-ing like a pro! All five are chunky and well-fed--some of the chubbiest babies I've ever had! 😂

It's been a minute since I have had the time to sit down and post an update, but I have an exciting one...QCR has another litter born last week! Five cuties born to QCR's Dickens and SG's Lucee. Lucee pulled a mountain pile of fur for them, and all five seem to be thriving so far. If I was going to guess, I'd say I have one chestnut agouti, an opal or two, and some blue chinchilla. 😍
