Treating your pet like one of our own! PRESCRIPTION POLICY

Your pet’s well being is our first priority.

There are many pharmacy
options for you to get your pet’s prescriptions. Our online store
ships prescriptions straight to your house. If you would like us to
fill your pet’s prescriptions or call them into a pharmacy we ask that
you give us plenty of notice. Below are timelines for when
prescriptions will be ready based on when they were called in.

- If called in before 10am Monday through Friday

, the medications will
be ready for pick up after 3pm. Or we will contact the owner by
phone if there are any concerns before 3pm.

- If called in after 10am Monday through Thursday, the medications
will be ready for pick up after 10am the next day. Or we will
contact the owner by phone if there are any concerns before that time.

- If called in late Friday or Saturday, the prescription will not be
ready until Monday.

Catnip cat kickers are a great to provide enrichement. #mcahcatenrichment Youcan purchase one at Mallard Creek or make your own!

Toys are a great source of enrichment for our cats. Cats enjoy toys that mimic mice, bugs, or birds. You can use a cat dancer or feather wand toy to entice them to play. Try using a figure 8 motion or U-shaped motion or move the toy slowly across the ground to grab their attention. Be sure to allow them to catch it to satisfy their drive. You can also incorporate furniture to pique their interest. 10 to 15 minutes a day can be very rewarding for them and entertaining for us! We are sad to say that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Juliette. She very suddenly got sick and developed multi organ failure. She was surrounded by the entire MCAH family who will miss her antics dearly.
