Toys are a great source of enrichment for our cats. Cats enjoy toys that mimic mice, bugs, or birds. You can use a cat dancer or feather wand toy to entice them to play. Try using a figure 8 motion or U-shaped motion or move the toy slowly across the ground to grab their attention. Be sure to allow them to catch it to satisfy their drive. You can also incorporate furniture to pique their interest. 10 to 15 minutes a day can be very rewarding for them and entertaining for us! Here are Pickle, Porkchop, and Peanut (Dr. G's cats) playing with a variety of toys. #mcahcatenrichment
