It’s trainer spotlight time! 🤩Meet our wonderful trainer, Brittany! 🐾

It’s been one of the biggest blessings in my life to be a pet owner for the past 13 years. It was my dachshund Sadie that gave me my passion for caring for, walking & training dogs. I then set out to meet all of the qualifications to become certified to begin to live out this passion of mine, and to advance my skill set through platforms/apps like “Wag”. Those 5 years of experience have exposed me to all breeds and ages of dogs. I have worked with ages ranging from puppy to senior.
It truly fascinates me to get to know each individual dog and to gain insight on how they individually learn. My son, Maverick, has been along for the ride since he was born almost 4 years ago. Even at his young age, It has become his passion to train and guide puppies to their full potential as well. He has always enjoyed observing and working along side me. Ultimately, our goal is to help our clients achieve a harmonious and enjoyable life with the new addition to their family. We are a family that will be welcoming your puppy into our home and loving him/her like family!

Are you bringing home a new puppy, but you’re nervous about how your seasoned four-legged friend is going to adjust? Follow these 6 simple tips for a seamless transition! 🐶

💛 Consider your dog’s temperament and how they respond to new situations. They may be great around dogs at the dog park, but how would they react if a puppy is all of a sudden brought into their home territory?

💛 Allow them to meet on neutral, non-threatening territory. This is a great way for them to get to know each other without any favorite beds, toys or treats present!

💛 Use Positive Reinforcement: ALL the yummy treats for positive interactions and behavior!

💛 Keep them in separate spaces in your home at first. This provides independence and security as they get used to each other’s presence in the home.

💛 Give each dog one-on-one quality time. This will show each pup that they are loved, special, and valued even though there are now two of them!
