He was found as a tiny kitten screaming for help all alone in a yard. Even being shy and scared as an 8" tiny cat, he befriended even the unfriendliest of cats in the rescue program and gave them a confidant. He is what some would consider a "wall flower" and tends to buddy up with the calmer cats and humans, the kind of friend who will join you for a Netflix marathon or listen while you spill the tea about your inner most thoughts. He's a friend. A good one. He understands and has empathy for others because that's what he appreciates the most in return. Someone to notice him, to sit with him and speak to him. He's been at Mac Tabby 127 days today, and he still prefers to curl up in guest's bags or in his favorite corner, so he is simply being overlooked. He's a precious soul, and we know his person is out there, perhaps mimicking his same comforts and curled up at home in their favorite spot, which is why it's taking longer to find one another. Two introverted wall flowers need each other! If you're reading this and this message resonates with you, throw on a jacket and get down to our Salisbury location to meet him. Your couch and heart will be cozier with a cat who knows he's safe, understood, and HOME... the feeling of watching him open up to you will give you everything you need daily to fill your soul 🖤🤍
