Another sweet angel kitten ready to go to her forever home! This little lady is about 7 weeks old, found on Tryon Street and has been dewormed and had her first shots. She has come so far from being super scared and shy to being sweet and loving! Spread the word so we can find her a loving home. ♥️🐱

Once again, the kitten distribution system is in full effect here at SCAH! This sweet 8 week old girl is dewormed, felv/fiv negative, and has her first shots in! She is sweet and playful like all kittens, and would love a playmate at home! If you or someone you know is looking to add a forever friend, please let us know! We heard you might be looking for some kittens……… OK so not really, but we had these four little cuties dropped off in a PostMates bag on our porch last week. Despite that tough start and being covered in fleas, ear mites, and giardia - these sweet angels are ready to come home with their forever family! They are about 9 weeks old, FELV/FIV negative, and extremely sweet. The tabby with the white stripe is a boy, and the rest are girls. Stop by and meet them if you are in the market - or spread the word! And gentle reminder to spay and neuter your pets! 🥰🐱🤎🩶🧡🤍

We are thrilled to announce that we have a new full time doctor, Dr. Kirks, who joined us the first week of June. Please welcome him if you come see him or stop by!

Dr. Kirks earned his undergraduate degree in speech-language pathology and french from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2020. He then completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association. His professional interests include dentistry, surgery, preventative medicine, dermatology, and compassionate end-of-life care.

Emails or Otto (televet) messages may not come through easily, and we are unable to process payment today but will be taking cash or card numbers for future processing. How cute is Augie? This little cutie was adopted by his amazing family from Humane Society of Charlotte and we are so excited to watch him grow up! He got to meet everyone in the clinic and get cookies, pets, and play time to make his visit a happy and fun visit to associate the vet with good times too! Happy visits are our favorite!

Happy graduation day to Hunter! This perfect boy had knee surgery to repair his ruptured cruciate ligament- the most common cause of sudden hind leg limping we see! Hunter’s muscle mass has improved and as you can see from that smile- he isn’t in pain! We use those pool noodles in the underwater treadmill to prevent any “cheating” on the side… though I’m sure he doesn’t mean to! We will miss seeing you twice a week, sweet boy!
