Hello everyone my name is April Ross and I’d like to introduce myself and my little girl Phoenix (she comes with me to pet sit). I’m 28 (almost 29) and Phoenix is 2!
I’ve been helping my dear friend Allyson with pet sitting since 2019. I took over for her when she passed and I couldn’t ask for a better additional job.

We love all animals and we can’t wait for the summer time! Our schedule is booking up pretty fast.

Did you know that Layna has experience with large animals? Here's a photo of her girl (Willow) that unfortunately passed away in 2021. She decided to get a donkey (Otis) for now until she's ready to find her next horse ❤️

12/18 walk with Sadie Jane! Even though I wasn't feeling the best, we went out for a long walk while the weather was warmer out! Hoping to have a friend join us this week! 😄 Another 6 miles down, 23.42 miles to go! Do you think we will be able to do it by the end of the month?! We are up for the challenge!

We put in more miles yesterday and took advantage of the beautiful weather. Here's to another 2.4miles! 4.1 miles down, 35.9 miles to go!

My fiance, the pups, and I started our walk in December 1 day early since they are calling for rain tomorrow! This was such an amazing idea and such a great way to kickstart some exercise after that Thanksgiving meal! A fundraiser to raise money for St. Jude while having fun by walking your pup! 1.7 miles down, 38.3 miles left to go! Usually we like to do long walks but we kept this one short today and since it was during the work week.

We would love to have some other peeps and pups join us next time! Message us if you'd like to join! If you walk with us and/or donate, we will do a name drawing at the end of the month for a prize!

SERVICE PRICING:

Our service radius varies depending on the sitter and type of visit. Please note, that there may be a custom fee added for travel distance depending on location. We require all vaccination copies to keep on file before any visits are started. Please be attentive in updating us if there are updated vaccines or medications. There may be additional fees for any harder to handle pets and puppies or those who require special instructions with meds, etc. We have experience with small animals (cats, dogs, birds, rabbits) and large animals (horses, chickens, goats) We are CPR & First Aid certified! We can give meds orally or by injection. We have dealt with rescue dogs and cats with special needs including separation anxiety, fear of strangers, and aggressive tendencies.

Walk (30 min) - up to 2 dogs: $25
Walk & drop in (1hr) - up to 2 dogs: $40
Drop in (30 min) - up to 2 dogs: $20
Drop in (1hr) - up to 2 dogs: $35
Overnight stays (depending on sitter availability) - up to 2 dogs: $80
Pet taxi (price varies depending on location) - up to 2 dogs: $30
Latta field trip (30 min + travel) (price varies depending on travel) - up to 2 dogs: $50
Additional dog rate after 2- $5
Holiday fees- additional $4 per visit

Last minute request fees:
24 hrs from service- $3
12 hrs from service- $4
6 hrs from service- $5

Last minute cancellation fees:
24 hrs from service- 60%
12 hrs from service- 70%
6 hrs from service- 80%

Please feel free to let us know if you are interested in any other specific requests not listed above. We are strongly passionate about the satisfaction of pets and parents. We feel our overnight stays in your home and/or drop ins provide a safer, convenient, and happy environment for your pet while you're away! You don't have to worry about the hassle of dropping off at a daycare and the potential of your pet being stuck in a kennel most of the day.

Please let us know about any medications, feeding schedules, and any other behaviors we may need to know at the time of our meet and greet. We are hoping to start using an app once we get settled in better that will keep track of notes for feedings, access instructions, meds, and vaccinations. You'll also be able to put in visit requests on there. We will update once we have this option available!

So, I thought I'd do a little introduction of myself even though I've helped Allyson with doing some dog sitting in the past.

My name is Layna, I'm cousin's with Allyson. We often would get the compliment of "y'all look alike". Allyson and I were more like sisters than anything. We were best friends who did almost everything together. Not a day went by where we didn't see or at least talk to each other. She was my rock in times where I hit rock bottom, as I was hers. We shared so many interests including the love for dogs, the joy of hunting, horses, and the good outdoors. We didn't share many differences so it made our relationship strong and trustworthy. We valued each other and put each other's needs before ourselves. Our bond was unique and one of a kind. We were both stubborn and independent but we always came together for each other.

I have my own auto repair business currently in Charlotte and still will continue working on cars occasionally. I recently had a change of heart and wanted to do something different to continue Allyson's memory not just in my heart, but in the heart of other people and their pets. I have recently gotten engaged to my BEST FRIEND on September 29th. I have adopted Allysons baby, Sadie, and also have a German Shepherd, age 11. I'm so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to adopt Sadie. As some of you know, Allyson registered Sadie as a service dog. I have taken her many places, The Cherokee Museum last year where she did wonderfully, restaurants, and grocery stores.

I am humbled by the opportunity to continue Allyson's business and hope to remind you of the gentle and caring heart of Allyson when I care for your babies. I look forward to speaking with you about the care I can provide. Thank you for supporting Allyson's business thus far and I hope we can continue!!!

Woofcome everyone to our new page! We have decided to make a new page since we weren't able to get FULL access to Allyson's other page. We have redesigned a new logo for us, so be on the lookout for new merchandise coming soon! Layna has decided to start helping out before taking over once April's little one starts school. Once she starts, April will still be able to take requests, it just won't be very often, if at all, during the week. Our service area is also expanding to Huntersville & Charlotte which is where Layna resides currently. As you all know, this business was very important to Allyson and she put her whole heart into this vision and the care for your pets. So we want to continue providing excellent care and keep her memory alive by continuing on for HER! Allyson was not only my cousin, but she was my BEST FRIEND. So this hits my heart very deeply and I'm very passionate about it. As some of you know, I have gone down the path of being an Auto Repair Technician for many years. But, in the recent years I have had a slight change of heart. While I still enjoy and will continue working on cars here and there, I always strive to make a bigger impact on people. I feel this opportunity is a gift from God and from Allyson. I miss her deeply, words can't describe. But I'd love to live on in her memory and provide gentle and loving care to your pets just as she would. This is for you Allyson. I love you and miss you so much!
