Hi my name is Bree and I have 8+ years of dog sitting experience. I also worked at Lucky Dog Bark and Brew, Pet Paradise Charlotte Airport Resort, TotalBond Vet as a tech assistant and Palmetto Pet Hospital as a tech assistant and kennel manager! At the moment I’m looking for drop ins and walks Monday- Friday! I also do weekends and overnights! I love animals more than people. They all have differ

ent temperaments and personalities. One important thing I’ve learned from working with animals is patience. Patience is very important when taking care of animals. Just like humans, animals have boundaries that need to be respected. Over the years I have taken care of many different types of breeds and ages of dogs. I have experience with seizures, oral medication and injection medicine like insulin. I also have experience with anxiety, cancer, abused, rescued, blind and deaf. I also have experience with dog aggressive, leash aggressive, food aggression, kid aggressive and male and female aggressive dogs. I’m also used to watching more than 5 dogs at a time. If you have extremely hyper dogs I also have experience with that. I have a couple of clients that have been regulars for 3 almost 4 years. One family has two dogs that get into fights sometimes. Another family has 2 labs with high anxiety and energy. I love their dogs as if they were my own. I also have a dog who is a rescue. So I totally understand dogs that need time to warm up. I’ve worked with many dogs that need a few visits before a booking to warm up. So if your pup needs a few visits before a booking I’m available for that! Trust is a big thing! Not only do you need to trust me to take care of your animal, but they also need to be able to trust me. I also have experience with cats, chickens, fish, birds and ferrets!! Full time pet sitter so I’m available for walks and drop ins during the week and weekends! Your pup won’t be left alone for more than 4-5 hours if it’s an overnight stay! Message me for more details! When dogsitting I’m at the house with the pups playing and giving them belly rubs and taking them for walks! I will make sure they are happy and safe. I will send you cute pics of your pups having fun! Your house will be as clean as you left it when you get home! :)

I also have 3 other people if I’m booked that would love to watch your fur babies! All of them have years of experience working with animals! Two of them also worked at Pet Paradise the other one worked at Lucky Dog and a few other dog daycare facilities and now she’s a TA at TotalBond! I’d be happy to set up a meet and greet for you with one of my associates!! Prices are negotiable! I serve in the following areas- Mathews, Mint Hill, Concord, all over Charlotte, Huntersville, Pineville, Steele Creek, Fort Mill, Belmont, Mt Holly, Belmont and Gastonia! Big Mac is going 8 years young and would love nothing more than to spend his golden years lounging on someone’s couch. He spent months at the shelter with zero interest prior to coming to FCRR, and has been with us for over a year now.
Mac is a simple boy. He loves people, including kids, and happily greets strangers like he’s known them forever. He doesn’t need a ton of exercise and prefers to leisurely sniff around the yard and chew his sticks/bones for a short time before returning to the AC. Mac has quite a few dog friends but he tends to get overwhelmed by other dogs and we feel he would be happiest in a home where he is the center of attention. He chases cats and although we’d be very surprised if he actually caught up to one, we don’t want to risk it. He loves car rides, pup cups, de-stuffing toys, and pretending like he’s going to fetch, but give the boy a few treats and a belly rub and he will think you hung the moon.

on monday my sweet ruby crossed over the rainbow bridge. if you know me, you know I love my senior pups more than anything.

Ruby aka lil snapping turtle was the sweetest, goofiest lil nerd. her back legs didn’t always work well but that didn’t stop her from going on her lil sniffaris. I will definitely miss those big eyes looking up at me for a treat after going potty. it’s going to be weird walking in and not saying “rubyssss wanna go for a walkies?” and you looking up with your tongue sticking out, half asleep or making sure your brother didn’t step on you 😅

i’ll miss giving you a treat and you biting my finger instead 😅 that’s why I called her lil snapping turtle 🤣 she loved her some treats 🥹 idk what she loved more her treats or sniffaris. she never wanted to go back home. she always pulled me in another direction when I would go back to the house 😂 and of course she got her way because it was her world and i was just living in it. 🥰

A year ago today I quit my job and started working on my business full time. This is something i’ve talked about doing for years. What’s funny about all of this is nobody thought I would amount to anything in life. Growing up my life was very chaotic and rough. I grew up poor. Like lived without water and heat, could barely afford food, my bed was an air mattress poor 😅 I was abused my both of my parents. Constantly being told by teachers and my parents I wouldn’t amount to anything in life. Well here I am running a business by myself. So jokes on them 😂 This job isn’t easy. I walk 8+ miles a day, constantly talking to clients and potential clients about their dogs and my availability, working on my social media, and scheduling meet & greets. It’s a 24/7 type of job. It’s not easy but it’s so worth it. I have made so many special bonds with these dogs and they bring so much happiness to my life. Long story short I want to say that no matter where you come from and no matter what people so to you or about you, it’s your life. You write your story not them. Maybe you weren’t dealt the best hand in life and maybe people are always putting you down and you feel like “what’s the point of me being here?” Trust me I’ve been there. I used to be so depressed and anxious I couldn’t leave my house. I honestly didn’t think I would live past 25. I saw no future for myself and didn’t want to be here anymore. Now I’m 28 and have my own business. People message me and tell me how much they look up to me and people have even started their own businesses because of me. It’s just amazing because nobody not even me saw this coming. But I couldn’t do any of this without my amazing clients and their adorable fur babies!! Thank you so much for making this possible and for being apart of The Golden Leash! 🥹❤️ So here’s to breaking generational curses, proving people wrong and loving all the pups and cats ❤️
