Oops! The night is almost over but I forgot to mention our three AMAZING adoptions this weekend! 💛💚

First up Sierra went to a wonderful new home with another Laceys Legacy Alumni! We are so glad her new mom came back to love another one of our kitties! 💚💙

Rep also found a wonderful home and we are sure she will be so happy there! 💙💛

Last but definitely not least PABLO FINALLY WENT HOME!!!!! 🎉🎉 He was only waiting for his PERFECT family to find him! We know Pablo is in for a life of being spoiled rotten and that makes us all so happy!! 💙💚💛💙💚

We have been busy little bees this weekend and have a lot to catch you guys up on! 🐝🐝

First, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Lucky Cats of Kinston and the Community Pet Mobile for their extremely needed "Cat Days of Summer" Clinic in our county. We were able to trap E.I.G.H.T ferals! And since they had some openings at the end of the night, our friends from Farmville- Jaime & Tammy grabbed 3 more babies, and we were able to get them vetted!

This went like a well-oiled machine at drop off and pick up! These ladies did an AMAZING job keeping all of the cats straight and well cared for during the clinic. We are so thankful they came to our area to help with cat overpopulation!

June "Adopt A Cat" Month is running quite slowly with only ONE adoption so far and we are WORRIED!We truly need adoption...

June "Adopt A Cat" Month is running quite slowly with only ONE adoption so far and we are WORRIED!

We truly need adoptions right now as our focus has shifted to TNR again and funding has declined to almost nothing. This month we have vetted 13 animals and only had one that was graciously covered. We have 14 more appointments this month so far.

If you can't adopt we understand that but that doesnt mean you can't still help!

💜 You can share our posts far and wide of our cats and our mission to help!

🧡 You can donate items in need through Amazon, Petco or just donate cash towards our vet bills.

💚 If you can open up your home and heart to fostering it would mean the world to us and you would be saving lives!

🩷 Have a fundraiser for us to raise awareness and funds

💛 Come out to the local Petco to help clean cages and interact with the cats

❤️ We would love someone computer savvy to help out with records and our social media pages!

Pablo, Squirrel, Raccoon, and Roxanne...

We are truly at a loss as to why these sweet babies are STILL at the local Greenville Petco and have yet to find homes. They have been waiting for far too long to find their forever!

Pablo (aka pink nose) is not even a year old yet and is the silliest, most playful guy you will ever meet! He loves everyone and everything! His perfect home would be someone who embraces the chaos and has a playmate for him. You will ALWAYS be entertained by this little guy!

Speaking of being entertained, have you met Squrriel and Raccoon?! This brother and sister duo give endless hours of pure joy by watching them play! Squrriel is crazy and loves to jump while Raccoon has his silly moments, then cuddles right up to you! Raccoon is missing a back leg, but we promise it doesn't slow him down one bit!!

And lastly, we have the gorgeous Roxanne! This longhaired beauty absolutely adores her "person" and wants to be in your lap. 😍

All of these babies are LESS than a year old and deserve to be in the best homes possible for the rest of their lives!

This gorgeous cloud reminded me of my Lacey Mae today. I think she'd be one happy girl with all the hundreds of lives we have saved so far 🥰🥰

After a solid year we FINALLY trapped a momma cat that I know has had at least 6 litters and is probably only a 1 to 1 1/2 years old!!

This is why spay and neuter is SO important! This girl is a feral and is terrified of being indoors so we need IMMEDIATE placement in a barn home for her.

It is not good for her nor her caregiver to have her stuck in a kennel being stressed! If you have an area you need a mouser in that will leave you alone and be a silent worker this girl NEEDS YOU!

Finally home after a long hard day in animal rescue world (again). This morning I was ecstatic to learn a momma cat we had been working with some workers at the area for over a YEAR with was FINALLY in a trap! Yay!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

But wait..... her little 6 week old kitten was also in the trap with her 😬 I was not prepared for that! Nor was I ready to have to hand grab another very feisty kitten of hers while it tried to run from me! So here we are two extra kittens I do not have a spot for. But I couldn't leave them there without momma to fend for themselves.

We NEED foster homes and foster to adopt homes for kittens in our care.

If you are interested in becoming a Foster Parent please know it is so easy! We supply everything you need and you supply the love and a safe place. ❤️ We need you now more than ever as we have multiple kittens that are ready to go into foster to adopt and these two firecrackers would love a foster to show them that humans are actually pretty cool.

Put in your foster application online at www.laceyslegacycatrescue.com and once approved we will be giving you a call! Our fosters would need to own their home or have a rental agreement that allows fostering. Also all other animals in the home must be up to date on shots and altered. All we need is loving fosters that will help us to save more lives, could that be you?

Please come out this Saturday June 14th to Pet Supplies Plus where we will have some sweet babies available for adoption from 11am until 3pm! Get those applications in so we can find your perfect match! 🥰🥰
