Dogs have a number of things going for them in order to 'know' what their schedule is. And they like a schedule!
> They have an Internal since of time
> They can tell when their last meal wears off
> They look at the shadows the sun makes and are aware it might be time for you to get home from your day at work
> They look for queues that something might be about to happen. For example, you putting on your shoes might mean they get to go on a walk
Let's face it, dogs are smart. And so while they may not be able to read a clock or a wrist watch, they can 'sort of' tell time. .
